ChicHome Proof began with a familiar headache: a washing machine on the fritz, a warranty nobody could locate, and a receipt buried somewhere in an old inbox. We built the tool we wished existed — a quiet, private home for every purchase, repair, and warranty detail you own.
Our mission is straightforward: give every item in your home a paper trail, minus the paper. From the day something new comes out of the box to the day you need proof it's still covered, that history should be a tap away, not a scavenger hunt through drawers, folders, and old photo albums.
Inside the app you can log receipts, set warranty expiry dates, track repairs and their costs, and attach photos to appliances, electronics, furniture, and tools — building a clean timeline for anything worth remembering. When something breaks, you already have what you need to file a claim, brief a technician, or decide if a fix is worth it.

ChicHome Proof was built around one guiding rule: your household records are yours alone. This policy explains, plainly, what that means in practice.
None. ChicHome Proof does not create user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. When you log a receipt, warranty date, repair note, cost, or photo for an item, that entry is created and stored only on your device. We never see it.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, or sold. There is no profile of you anywhere, on our servers or anyone else's, because there are no servers involved in your data at all. Every feature — timelines, warranty reminders, repair logs, photo attachments — runs entirely on-device.
All information you enter lives locally on your phone or tablet, in the app's private storage. ChicHome Proof does not sync your data to a cloud service, does not maintain remote servers for user content, and does not transmit your entries anywhere over the internet.
ChicHome Proof does not embed third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. No usage data is shared with outside companies because no usage data leaves your device in the first place.
Because your item records, receipts, and photos never leave your device, the biggest safeguard is architectural: there is no central database to breach. Your device's own security — passcode, encryption — protects your ChicHome Proof data the same way it protects everything else on your phone.
ChicHome Proof does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected from any user, the app is compliant with COPPA by design, not by policy alone.
You are always in full control of your data. There is no account to manage and no cloud backup to worry about. If you delete the app, your locally stored records — receipts, warranty dates, repair logs, and photos — are removed from your device along with it.
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or for clarity. Any changes will be reflected in a new Effective Date at the top of this page.
